Dear Sirs, Madams,

I would like to ask your help to call the attention of the Canadian society. Colombians are requiring a serious analysis and corrective actions about the non sustainable activities that some Canadian Companies are caring out in Colombia. The situation unfortunately is not good regarding natural resources.

Companies such as Prima Hard Wood (http://www.primahardwood.com/profile/) are planning to cut 300.000 trees in the Colombian Jungle (Choco area). This area is a huge sensitive ecosystem that had been one of the best keep secrets of the world until now.

We would like to ask to this Canadian company to re-evaluate their project and to asset properly the environmental impacts of their activities in Choco region. Colombians needs sustainable projects that guarantee the long life of this jungles and there are plenty of options in Colombia to invest in other long term responsible business.
